Welcome to our clinic. Whether you are joining us for a routine touch-up or taking your very first step into medical aesthetics, we want your experience to be seamless, comfortable, and entirely stress-free.
Because your safety and results are our highest priorities, aesthetic treatments require a small amount of clinical preparation. Below, you will find everything you need to know to prepare for your appointment and ensure a beautiful, smooth recovery.
Pre-Treatment Care Guidelines
1
1 Week Before Your Treatment
Avoid Blood Thinners: To minimize the risk of bruising and swelling, please discontinue over-the-counter blood-thinning supplements and medications like Aspirin, Ibuprofen (Advil, Motrin), Aleve, Fish Oil, Flaxseed Oil, and high-dose Vitamin E (unless medically prescribed by your physician).
Dental Work & Vaccines: Ensure you do not have any routine dental cleanings, major dental procedures, or vaccinations scheduled within 2 weeks before or 2 weeks after any dermal filler treatments.
24 to 48 Hours Before Your Treatment
Skip the Alcohol: Avoid wine, beer, and spirits for at least 24 hours prior to your visit. Alcohol dilates blood vessels, which significantly increases your chance of bruising at the injection sites.
No Retinoids: Discontinue the use of topical Retin-A, Retinols, Glycolic Acid, or strong exfoliating skin treatments 2 days prior to your appointment.
On the Day of Your Appointment
Arrive Bare-Faced: Please come to the clinic with a clean face free of makeup, heavy moisturizers, or self-tanners. We will thoroughly sanitize your skin before treating, but starting with a clean canvas is ideal.
Eat a Light Snack: Ensure you have had a light meal or snack and are well-hydrated before you arrive to prevent feeling lightheaded or jittery during your treatment.
What to Expect During Your Visit
1.Check-In & Medical Intake:
When you arrive, we will review your medical intake forms, health history, and consent paperwork. Please make sure to fill out your intake form prior to your appointment.
2.Anatomical Consultation:
We sit down together to evaluate your unique facial anatomy, discuss your aesthetic goals, and capture your confidential medical "before" photographs. We then map out your customized treatment plan.
3.The Treatment:
Using precise, advanced clinical techniques, we administer your treatment. Your comfort is our priority; we utilize numbing creams, ice, or cooling tools to make the experience as gentle as possible.
4.Aftercare & Next Steps
We will review your immediate post-care instructions, take a peek at your refreshed look, book your 2-week follow-up appointment if required, and send you home with a detailed aftercare guide.
Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy: We value your time and reserve our clinical space specifically for you. We kindly require a minimum of 24 hours' notice for any cancellations or changes to your appointment. Late cancellations or no-shows may be subject to a $50 fee.
Late Arrivals: If you are running more than 10–15 minutes late, please call us immediately. To maintain a safe environment and keep our other patients on schedule, we may need to shorten or reschedule your treatment.
Children & Guests: Because our space is a medical clinical environment, we respectfully ask that you do not bring children or additional guests to your appointment to ensure a focused, safe, and sterile environment.
