1 week before your treatment;
avoid blood thinners such as NSAIDs, Omega 3s, and Vitamin E, to minimize bruising or swelling
ensure you do not have vaccinations or dental work 2 weeks prior or after your dermal filler treatment.
24-48 hours before;
Avoid drinking any alcohol, as alcohol dilates blood vessels and can increase your chance of bruising at the injection site.
Same day;
Eat a light snack, and stay well hydrated before coming to your appointment, this will help prevent feeling lightheaded or jittery during your appointment.
Arrive with a clean face. Avoid wearing too much makeup or heavy moisturizes if possible. I will sanitize your skin before the treatment but starting with a clean canvas is ideal.
